Work on this plan had started in Nov. 2007. The first stage was preparing the project plan and discussions with numerous groups of people in various cities is going on. The next stage is to obtain the license, create a program library and setup the infrastructure. Thereafter, test signals and promotional programming will begin.

Each shareholder can at best contribute 5% of the equity base of the company. This is being done to protect and maintain community ownership of the Venture. The minimum subscription per shareholder is 1000 shares of Rs. 100 each. The main objects of the Memorandum is given along on the memorandum page. Those who cannot become shareholders, especially Trusts that enjoy Income Tax exemption, can contribute by sponsoring programs and/or by donatin. |
