Key points

While the channel will require initial investment, we expect it to self-sustain. It will operate & grow on its own revenues after support for first 2-3 years. A company will be formed to run the channel profitably and it will invite subscriptions for its equity. A separate trust will maintain and develop the library of programs. Control of the company will reside with the Board of Directors, who will be elected by the shareholders. They will appoint a professional management to run the company. Thus, a company has been proposed as "Shri Ganga Kripa Television Network & Infotainment Ltd."

What will be shown on the channel ?

All programming of the channel will be consistent with its objectives and guidelines imposed by the regulator. Nothing will be shown that is against Human Values and rich Indian social/cultural haritage. The programs will include those on rich hartage of Ganga civilization, family and social values, sanskars, Indian history, social issues, vegetarianism, health, nationalism, etc. The programs will be customised to the audience considering age, education and language. In future, we also see the need for many channels or a network to cover the wide range of programs. We will avoid direct criticism or confrontation with others, but at the same time present truth in a lucid & simple & entertaining manner.
