Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for managing the affairs of GangaTV and reports to the Board of Directors.
PRIORITIES/DUTIES OF CEO
- Provide visionary leadership; internal management and consensus building with staff and board to fulfill the organization's mission.
- Maintain a high professional profile and build strategic partnerships with donors, foundations and other progressive organizations.
- Work with the Board and staff in developing and achieving annual and long-range financial goals through fundraising. .
- Develop and maintain effective organizational structures, personnel, technology, business operations, and fiscal affairs.
- Foster an organizational culture characterized by commitment to mission, shared values and outcomes.
- Facilitate communication among the Board, staff and community stakeholders.
- Play a substantive role in the national dialogue with other progressive and grassroots leaders in the field.
- Advance Ganga TV to the next level in its development.
SKILLS SUMMARY
- 10 to 12 years experience in Satellite channels
- 5 years of demonstrated fundraising outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- 10 years leadership or management experience
- Experience working with and building boards of directors
- Knowledge of grassroots issues highly preferred

President Distribution : 8 to 10 years of experience in satellite channel distribution. Must have good contacts with MSO’s and Independent cable operators. Technically very sound.
Distribution Managers : 5 to 6 years of experience. Good contacts with cable operators. Must have all technical knowledge of channel positioning.
Executive Distribution : 2 to 3 years of experience and good relations with all cable operators.
HR Manager : Minimum 5 years experience.
PRO’s: 3 to 4 years experience in Public Relations. Fluent in English and Hindi.
Personal Secretary for CMD / CEO / DIRECTOR : 3 to 4 years of experience with good communication skills, Knowledge of Computers is must.
Guest Coordinators:- Must have 1-2 years experience. Your warmth & poise should reflect in your words & attitude. You are a Graduate/post-Graduate , with an impeccable command over verbal English/Hindi. An ability to form a rapport with high profile Guests is a must.
Receptionists:- Must have 2-3 years experience. Along with a Graduation/Post Graduation , you own a pleasing personality and etiquette. Your warmth & confidence reflect in your words and attitude Must have computer knowledge.

3D Animators:- Must have 5 years experience. The Fluency of your command over 3DS Max and Photoshop is matchless. A keen sense of Design & Aesthetics is a given.
Light men:- Must have 3-4 years experience. A diploma in same field is preferred. Good knowledge of indoor outdoor lighting is desired.
